About the Role:
From contract execution through project closeout, Senior Superintendents provide the critical job-site leadership necessary to bring commercial construction projects to successful completion, as measured by quality, safety, schedule adherence, budget maintenance and client satisfaction.
Senior Superintendents have broad responsibility for informing the preconstruction and/or design process in regards to constructability; sequencing, scheduling and value engineering; selecting construction methods and equipment; creating and managing project schedules; coordinating with permitting and inspection entities as well as third-party testing agencies; implementing the onsite QA/QC program; fostering a Zero Accident Safety Culture, documenting and filing project activity, including as-builts, daily logs, site inspections, JHAs, testing reports and status updates; avoiding cost overruns through effective management of field labor and rentals; ensuring effective project closeouts and assisting with warranty call backs,
This is a highly collaborative role in a relationship driven organization, so the ideal candidate will be a great manager of both people and process, with a record of success in cultivating positive and productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including owners, owner representatives, developers, designers, subcontractors, vendors, as well as representatives of government agencies. The ability to articulate vision, outline responsibilities, and mentor/manage field team members to sustain employee engagement, support professional development and build a unified team to achieve successful project outcomes is imperative.
