About the Role

Fenix Group is looking for a Network Engineer to join a highly collaborative, multi-disciplined team in support of the U.S. Government, and provide technical subject matter expertise.

Requirements

Only candidates with a TS/ SCI with Full Scope Polygraph will be accepted.

This role requires a strong background in designing and implementing Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN).

Must possess knowledge of TCP/IP Networking

Working experience with VPN technologies to include IPSEC and SSL, and configuring & trouble-shooting LAN Switches, Routers and Firewalls.

Demonstrated ability to convey technical designs and results, while applying the engineering design process to discover innovative methods and meet client requirements.

5+ years of established experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT related field

Must possess experiencing working with Customer Enterprise Network

Must be familiar with Type 1 encryption devices.

Knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, network architecture planning, and ability to configure and manage Cisco ASA appliances.

Must have knowledge of Wi-Fi IEEEE Standards: 802.11 a/b/g/n and how to apply them to an enterprise network architecture.
