Description

Kula Bio (KB) is an up-and-coming biofertilizer company making a major impact within the agriculture industry. We are seeking an agronomy and soil health specialist who wants to grow with an emerging company as Sales Agronomist on our commercial team. As the Sales Agronomist, you will become an integral contributor on the team, making the industry aware of this new, disruptive technology. You will provide marketing input as well as innovative product/technology ideas and be involved in community activities. 


On a regular day, you will work closely with the Sales Team to help maximize product recommendations for agronomic fit, placing Kula Bio products in the best position possible, educating and providing product positioning recommendations and presentations to customers. In alignment with our broader Commercial Team, you will support product positioning including crops, application methods, and data gathering, and lead Kula Bio trial initiatives located within an assigned territory. In addition, you will conduct direct farm visits to growers and attend grower/retailer meetings, conferences and trade shows promoting our products and portfolio.


To thrive in this role, you are an experienced relationship-builder with the ability to motivate dealers and distributors by presenting and promoting our fertilizer products. You are a natural educator able to summarize detailed and technical information to growers of the biofertilizer benefits and return on investment. You actively listen and proactively support customers and prospects’ needs, synthesizing and summarizing information to aid in new product development. You are a team player comfortable in a highly collaborative environment with a proactive approach to all situations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree of agronomy or related field with 7+ years of agronomy and soil health experience
  • Established industry network and ability to maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and growers.
  • Demonstrated experience      implementing strategic trials/side-by-sides to showcase product impacts.
  • 50% Travel throughout United States.

Salary Description
$100,000 - $125,000
