Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Air Hydro Power you will have the opportunity for all the above! You will not only process vendor invoices, but will also actively research discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.

You will be responsible for a wide variety of assignments, including:

· Entering vendor invoices into the corporate ERP System (P21) to be processed for payment

· Answering accounts payable inquiries via phone or email and following up in a timely manner.

· Reconciling vendor statements

· Setting up expense vendors in the corporate ERP System (P21)

· Billing customers for drop-shipments from vendors

· Processing freight bills

· Scheduling and printing accounts payable checks.

· Serving as backup to receptionist, as needed

· Assisting with special projects 

Requirements

· Detail oriented

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks

· Ability to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills

· Knowledge of Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and the ability to learn an ERP system

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
