About the Role:

Align Furniture Services provides project management and installation services in the fast-paced commercial furniture industry. The Installer works in the field building product and following scope as detailed in installation plans and by the Installation Project Leaders & Specialists. Per their direction, the Installer may also act as a secondary client contact and problem solver to increase the working capacity of the entire field crew.

Requirements

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
  • Off loads product at job sites, places per the installation plan, and removes packaging as needed.
  • Maintains a clean job site, collects and places garbage into the truck at the end of each day.
  • Follow installation plans and the Lead Installer’s instructions.
  • Problem solves installation issues and challenges.
  • Support the Lead Installer with overseeing subcontracted crews and assisting clients.
  • Responsible for carrying product and tools up and down staircases.
  • Assists installation crew in the construction, repair, or remodeling of furniture.
  • Learns and practices carpentry skills such as cutting, drilling, measuring, and various installation procedures.
  • Empty trucks with field crew daily after returning from the warehouse form the jobsite.
  • Sets up, transports, and maintains tools.
  • Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of products, which includes carrying merchandise up and down stairs.
  • Provides post installation cleaning which includes wiping down product, vacuuming, and tidying the work area as pertaining to the project.
  • Observes all worksite safety procedures and guidelines.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing at least 75 pounds, demonstrating physical fitness for the role.
  • Knowledgeable of the basic use and safe handling of power tools.
  • Adapt to different tasks, environments, and changes in project plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other tradespeople.
  • Execute plans and instructions accurately to ensure quality work.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and continuously improve skills.

Salary Description
$21-$26 per hour
