Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Acumatica Technical Project Manager to help our team as an independent contractor. As an Acumatica Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful implementation and integration of Acumatica ERP solutions for our clients. Your technical expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients' business objectives. This role is part-time (5-10 hours per week). 

  1. Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end implementation projects of Acumatica ERP solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans.
  2. Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the Acumatica ERP platform, its modules, functionalities, and integration capabilities. Provide technical guidance and expertise to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and project deliverables. Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  4. Solution Design and Architecture: Work closely with clients, solution architects, and development teams to design and architect Acumatica solutions that align with business requirements. Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the solutions.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to build strong working relationships. Provide regular project updates, manage expectations, and address any issues or risks proactively.
  6. Quality Assurance: Define and implement testing strategies, conduct system testing, and ensure the overall quality of the Acumatica solutions. Identify and resolve any defects or issues that arise during the implementation process.
  7. Training and Support: Provide training sessions and user documentation to clients, ensuring smooth adoption and knowledge transfer. Offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Requirements

1. Acumatica Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Acumatica ERP platform, including configuration, customization, and integration. Ideally, 3+ years experience in

2. Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing complex ERP implementation projects, from initiation to completion, while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, .NET, C#, and web development technologies. Familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, and data migration processes.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

5. Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend effective solutions.

6. Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, manage relationships, and drive alignment among various stakeholders.

7. Remote Work: This is a remote position, providing support to the hiring organization based in Southern California. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and effectively communicate remotely.
