Inca Presswood Pallets is North America’s leading manufacturer of Engineered Molded WoodTM pallets, core plugs, and other specialty molded wood products.

We are looking for the best production workers interested in learning how to operate state-of-the-art automated equipment in our Dover, OH manufacturing facility.

Starting at $19.13 per hour, this position offers weekly pay, including shift differential and weekly bonuses for housekeeping, attendance, and more! With this position also comes the ability to move to lead man at $21.42 per hour within 90 days of being at the company! Apply today!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Work in a safe and efficient manner

· Operate presses

· Operate glue system

· Mix hardener tank

· Check quality of pallets at press

· Weigh one pallet from each press every hour

· Adjust pallet weight to within acceptable specifications

· Take and record moisture sample of glued wood every hour

· Pull pallets from stacker when count reaches 25

· Hand router and flip pallet stacks for half pallets or when router is behind or down

· Place scrap from presses in correct areas

· Clean production floor areas

· Help Core Plug operator package Core Plug Skids if necessary

· Remove scrap pallets from floor at end of shift if directed by Supervisor

· Any tasks required by the Production Supervisor to accomplish shift goals

Requirements

  

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· Must have flexible schedule. Currently scheduling Monday-Friday (Saturdays as needed)

· Must be able to perform the physical activities necessary in an active work environment such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials

· Lift 2-40 lbs. with some positions requiring capability of lifting 50 lbs. 

· Able to stand in a fast-paced environment with typical 8 to 12 hour shifts and overtime as needed

· Ability to work any shift and/or shift pattern, including limited weekends. 

· Willing to learn from well-trained coaches with your safety & development, their number one priority

· Be a part of a high producing team that investigates and solves problems with the help of their mentors and coaches

· Ability to understand both verbal and written directions 

· Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards 

· High School Diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. They must be able to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with his hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Exposure to coolants, oils, grease, and water.
  • Ear and Eye protection is required at all times in designated production areas.
  • Steel toe boots are required at all times.
