The Role
As the Manager, Consulting Services, you’ll be the tip of the spear, leading the charge in Boston-area client acquisition. This is an opportunity to build something new, drive growth, and establish long-term partnerships with the region’s top companies.
You’ll connect with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Leaders across organizations like Bose, Johnson & Johnson, Houghton Mifflin, Publicis Sapient, IDEXX, and Wayfair, as well as high-growth, VC-backed startups.

What You’ll Do
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the Boston market.
- Lead a high volume of client meetings each month and drive revenue growth.
- Prospect creatively, through networking, events, targeted outreach, and collaboration with internal partners.
- Manage your pipeline and own your success, adjusting your daily activity to hit and exceed targets.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure smooth project launches and client satisfaction.
- Represent the DeWinter brand with integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in staffing, recruiting, or professional services.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
- A consultative approach with the ability to build trust and close complex deals.
- Strong communication skills, confidence with senior executives, and a reputation for follow-through.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, goal-driven, and energized by growth.
- A strong local network and a passion for building lasting relationships.
