School-Based Caseworker

An "Agency Without Walls" our services are delivered in homes, communities, schools...wherever our youth are. 


Job Description

  • Provide on-site counseling and care coordination to students in West Warwick Public Schools. 
  • Work collaboratively to provide services with an integrated team of Tides Staff and West Warwick Public School Staff  
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed. 
  • Provide home and family visits as needed. 
  • Build and sustain collaborations with community partners including health, education, vocational, legal, and family intervention providers with the goal of increasing access to services.  
  • Complete all required documentation including but not limited to progress notes and recovery plans.
  • Serve as liaison/advocate between the program, community, and surrounding neighbors to build partnerships.
  • Practice in accordance with the NASW Code of Ethics  
  • Attend and participate in all required program meetings including; program coordination meetings, staff meetings, and required training. 
Requirements

  

Critical Knowledge/Skills

  • 2 years experience in human services, healthcare, and other non-profit agencies.
  • Ability to work from a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach.
  • Strong care coordination and communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to treat all clients with fairness, dignity, and respect regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Degrees/Certifications/Licenses

  • •Bachelor’s degree – Required or Community Related Experience 
  • •Valid driver’s license and registered/inspected vehicle – Required 
  • •Bilingual; Spanish, Portuguese, Creole – Preferred 

Salary Description $17- $20
