Efficiently Work with and Lead Alongside other Age Level Teachers
· Provide a relaxed and welcoming environment for students before school begins each day and on Late Start Tuesdays
· Implement positive, age-appropriate classroom management and discipline procedures
· Attend all staff meetings, staff in-services and special events as required by the Director
· Understand and implement all building emergency procedures and state regulations regarding the care and education of children 3 to 13 years of age
Cultivate Positive Relationships with Children and Families
· Connect relationally with children and parents
· Assist in caring for a student’s special needs, such as tying shoes, consoling, encouraging and administering minor first aid
Other Administrative Leadership Responsibilities
· Is knowledgeable about Cherry Hills Christian policies and procedures and assists with day-to-day operations
· Assists in overseeing the maintenance of a clean, safe environment for school operations

· Attends department, team and staff meetings and trainings

POSITION TYPE: Part-time, non-exempt
HOURS PER WEEK: 7 (August – May),
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays; 7:00am – 8:15am
Tuesdays; 7:00am – 9:00am
SUPERVISOR: Director of Preschool
SALARY RANGE: $15.75 - $22.94 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and it should be evident in both the personal and professional life
- Must agree to the mission statement, values, and faith statement
- Must be able to uphold and support the mission statement, values, and faith statement
- For those 18 years of age and above, the ability to meet additional state requirements including:
- Maintain requirement for 15 hours of continuing education each year as well as other required training
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Must have a flexible attitude with a servant’s heart
