 JOB TITLE:  Logistics Analyst (Intermediate)


LOCATION: Various client sites in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (DMV)


SUMMARY:


Provide endpoint modernization services for JSP supported end users. This support includes asset tracking, installation, disposition, and sanitization of assets containing sensitive and/or classified material. Endpoint modernization activities may be necessitated by end-of-life assets, major updates to operating systems, upgrades to equipment, or other events that require modernized equipment. The Contractor shall develop and, once Government approval is received, execute a plan to efficiently scale operations to LCR an additional 3,000 devices annually. The total LCR requirement will increase from 8,500- 12,500 per year to 11,500 per year.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities listed in a satisfactory manner:

· Track all endpoint modernization assets and end of life assets through disposition.

· Utilize a Unique Identifier in accordance with DOD Directive 8320.03. In addition, the Contractor shall ensure the Unique Identification system complies with MIL-STD-130N Change 1.

· Coordinate with JSP’s Asset Management Branch to assume custody for endpoint modernization assets and the transfer custody back to Asset Management prior to end-of-life item disposition.

· Submit service request with paperwork that includes device's serial number, make and model, etc. to have “turned in” equipment received from or sent to the JSP warehouse from various locations.

· Coordinate with proper customer custodians in advance of issuance of equipment.

· Obtain user signature on the issued hand receipt (DD1150) for each endpoint modernization device deployed.

· Transfer, in DPAS, the assets from the Contractor's custodial account to the Customer Property Custodian's accounts and vice versa for equipment issued, relocated, reassigned, and turned in.

· Maintain a DPAS transaction log to track transactions by a single line item (i.e., DPAS 1150 with 50 devices, date signed, date sent to Accountable Property Manager (APO), date APO actioned, date cleared account).

· Track all assets on-hand within control of the team until assets are transferred from DPAS.

· Identify and submit Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) request for any items lost on the account.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


· Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline and 3 years direct experience with systems engineering and software development life cycle OR 5+ years direct experience required.

· Experience with the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) required.

· Related experience supporting Government agency preferred.


CLEARANCE:


Individual shall possess or be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and/or REGISTRATIONS:


· DPAS certification required.

· DoD 8570 certification preferred.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:


Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to senior management, contracting officials, clients, and other employees in the organization.


REASONING ABILITY:


Ability to organize work, define and solve problems, establish, and manage priorities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions based on facts. Project Manager participates in prioritization of work and decision-making on allocation of resources. The incumbent must be able to analyze a situation analytically, evaluate the facts/data and formulate a plan of action.
