This position will support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Joint Operations Center (JOC) and Special Programs with professional services and operational readiness for the USCYBERCOM mission.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Knowledge Management Specialist Level II will provide knowledge management support as follows:
- Develop content (i.e., portals, web pages, dashboards, queries, and reports) to support ad hoc and recurring mission tasking, share operational information and products, as well as facilitate data pulls with supplemental queries and/or dashboard development.
- Monitor collaboration tools and facilitate communication within the tools.
- Coordinate JOC Knowledge and Information Management, and monitor and assist with updates, maintenance, and controls of the systems that project on the JOC Knowledge Walls.
- Coordinate efforts to mainstream knowledge management into core USCYBERCOM activities and projects, and promote initiatives to identify, create, and share knowledge.
- Provide one-on-one guidance and troubleshooting of knowledge management tools to current operations personnel.
- Leverage knowledge management concepts and collaborative tools including software applications and IT systems that are within the USCYBERCOM and the DOD/Intel community.
- Establish processes and procedures to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers at the direction of the government.
- Train and educate front-end users on the knowledge management tools and processes being leveraged.
- Develop reports as required to support operations, write knowledge content as required, and prepare presentations for senior management to support recommended changes, new initiatives, or enhancements at the direction of the government.
- Provide technical assistance for analyzing user needs, translating them into requirements, and developing associated SharePoint, Excel, SQL solutions with minimal guidance based on government requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Security Clearance: TS/SCI/CI Poly
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist including:
- Knowledge building, knowledge sharing, and knowledge management.
- Coordinating efforts to mainstream knowledge management into core activities and projects, independently builds partnerships, and promotes initiatives to identify, create and share knowledge relevant to solving issues and maximizing opportunities.
- Promoting collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners.
- Integrating information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
- Training and educating front-end users of the knowledge management tools.
- Writing knowledge content as required.

The team members are required to type using a keyboard and mouse.

The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
