JOB SUMMARY:

Tool Changers are required to coordinate with other areas of the company to schedule and perform tool change duties. They must provide support for CNC operators by setting up the tool changes of all the CNC machines. 



ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (the following in only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties) Quality Inspection

  • Keep tool quality good on shop floor
  • Program changes for production schedule
  • Able to read through programs to do repairs
  • Help CNC operations with whatever is needed

Requirements
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Experience with Makino, Okuma, Mor-Iciki, Makino preferred
  • Must be able to use inspection tools - i.e., go/no-go gauges, dial bore gauges
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Personal protective equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with CAD/CAM software
