Description
This work can be demanding, especially when audio quality is compromised, however, a strong commitment to accuracy and patient care drives every transcriptionist’s mission.
Responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Acts as primary oversight for all non-APM credits balances and refunds
- Responsible for reviewing and approving all refunds before they are submitted to the client
- Responsible for resolving escalated issues related to credit balances or refunds
- Must be able to effectively track all refunds and report on them accurately
- Communicates clearly and professionally with all other departments and clients
- Sense of urgency
- Ability to prioritize and follow a schedule
- Broad knowledge of multiple practice management systems
- Ability to analyze and understand payer EOB’s and clients managed care contracts/fee schedules
