The Junior Diesel Technician/Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing diesel engines and vehicles such as dump trucks. In this position you will: 

• Work closely with other team members to meet company fleet goals.  
• Assist an experienced maintenance technician with repairs. 
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs (such as: oil changes, tire rotations, electrical repairs, cooling system maintenance, etc.).
• Operate company equipment safely and properly. 

  High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical program in diesel mechanics is preferred.

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, components, and operations.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic systems in diesel-powered vehicles.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
