PURPOSE
As Activities Coordinator, YOUR primary responsibilities shall be:
- To provide all members and guests with the highest levels of service possible.
- To provide a positive work environment for all employees.
- To protect the physical assets of our business operations; and
- To achieve desired sales revenue goals and profitability results for investors.
SUMMARY of POSITION
Performs all “Resort Activities” such as; adult activities, live entertainment, fitness center, food &
beverage revenue increasing activities. Making sure resort guests will have a wonderful vacation
experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Is friendly, courteous, attentive, and helpful to all members, guests, and fellow employees.
- Performs activities of entertainment.
- Ensuring quality entertainment and customer service to guests throughout resort.
- Ensuring superior guest satisfaction.
- Assists in structuring, organizing and arranging all indoor and outdoor activities and participates in same
- Ensures the upkeep and safety of all equipment related to Resort Activities
- Is friendly, courteous, outgoing and physically active at all times.
- Ensures duties of daily resort activities sheet and schedule are carried out and announced punctually
- Ensures a complete and accurate weekly list of all available games and equipment
- Ensures an outgoing knowledge of all tours and activities available on the island
- Assists with property inspections as required – MOD shifts and inspections preparations if required
- Assists with guest orientations and the preparations and distribution of activities function sheets
- Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and wears proper attire at all times
- Ensures resort activities areas are kept tidy at all times
- Assists in public relations and cocktail parties or any other special function whenever necessary
- Fully utilizes and follows through with guest comment programs responding quickly to deficiencies and taking corrective action
- Liaises with the Front Desk on assisting promoting F&B and Resort Activities
- Communicates effectively with guests, staff, and corporate executives
- Ensures good safety practices of activities employees, guests and related equipment, while assisting in the maintenance of property emergency and security procedures – being part hurricane volunteer team
- Maintains high personal visibility and professionalism throughout the property
- Maintains knowledge of local and general activities trends
- Publicize events through use of activities flyer, property newsletter and other means of communication like company email, registration of sign ups,
- Promote all fitness, sport and recreational activities for all age levels on a daily basis
- Being physically active in conducting the resort activities
- Will cooperate in First Aid Certification training and keep certification updated through company
- Performs other duties as assigned
Salary Description
12.50 per hour
