What You'll Do:

The Senior Web and Graphic Designer will contribute to our overall look and feel across current and future Whisker brands and products. They will be integral to conceptualizing major campaigns, developing visual direction, collaborating with copy and content teams, and working with all marketing channel owners to turn ideas into reality. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Visually design marketing campaigns, web and digital advertising,  social media, print (in-box materials & experiences), in-shop signage, retail environments, print and digital catalogs, employee communications
• Web: Design inspiring e-commerce and brand pages for Whisker’s online websites: Litter-Robot.com, Litterbox.com, and soon, Whisker.com
• Performance Ads: Design performance marketing assets that also push the brand forward in a meaningful way
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate and create beautiful designs to support our owned channels and performance marketing efforts
• Work collaboratively with our in-house web development team to bring your designs to life. 
• Photo and video content creation with our in-house photo and video team.
• Plan and execute photo/video shoots, building a library of product photos for use on and offline
• Brainstorm and generate concepts with the team based on Sales and Marketing initiatives
• Working with influencers and other content creators to align with our ever-changing business needs
• Will perform additional responsibilities when required

What You'll Bring: 

• BA in Design or Art-related field; or relevant on-site experience
• 2-4+ years of graphic/web design experience
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and Acrobat. 
• Experience in UX/UI design working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, Ecommerce, as well as graphic design fundamentals, typography, color and layout with experience in creating graphic, digital and/or motion design in a retail or agency environment
• A diverse portfolio, including digital and mixed media
• Self-motivated and proactive with a sense of urgency. Able to manage multiple projects and quickly respond to and act upon critical feedback
• Strong visual skills, including an eye for good lighting, graphic composition, and use of color
• Solid understanding of major social media channels and the specific types of content needed to resonate with channel-specific consumers
• Strong knowledge of editing and post-production process for stills, including editing, color, and text overlay
• Technical knowledge of photography
• Experience creating packaging designs utilized across all selling channels
• Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
• High degree of initiative, self-motivation and ability to motivate others
• Ability to provide a working atmosphere that is positive and productive
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members 
• You must have a cat, have had a cat, or be willing to get a cat!
