 QC Inspector: Position is a Monday - Friday 6 am-2:30 pm (flexibility here)

We are more than just a Swiss machining house, boosting with a total of 35 machines at our CA location ranging from Swiss Lathe, to Lathe, to Mill, to EDM, to robotic loading and unloading of machines, it is something of beauty to be a part of!

We invest in best-in-class talent, processes and technology and are looking for a passionate mechanical Quality Control Inspector to be a part of a team that exudes excellence and is looking to grow in.

Our quality group works within the manufacturing process before, during and after production; approving the quality of incoming materials, completing first article inspections based on AS9102, auditing in-process product and performing final and in-depth inspections prior to product shipment. Daily continuous improvement is our standard with improvements being facilitated by the quality team through inspections, audits and the identification of non-conformances resulting in closed loop corrective actions.

As a part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to utilize your skill and knowledge, working with the manufacturing and quality team, assisting with determining the inspection plan for production, you will ensure the best quality product is being produced. 


What you will do:

· Inspect product at all stages of production including 

o First article inspections, ensuring the AS9102 format

o In-process inspections

o Final inspections

o RMA inspection of nonconforming materials

· Assist with the creation of inspection plans for production parts

· Assist the QC team with calibration

· Troubleshoot with the shop floor when problems arise to find the most efficient fix to keep production flowing

What we are looking for:

· You are passionate about quality manufacturing

· Have a mechanical machining/manufacturing background

· You can analyze data and clearly articulate your findings verbally and in writing to QC Managers and teammates 

· Knowledge, or interest in learning the use of Zeiss CMM’s and Keyence’s

Requirements

Required Technical Skills:

· Good knowledge of Microsoft suit (word, adobe, excel)

· Good knowledge of manufacturing

· Good organizational skills

· 3+ years Quality Inspection experience

· Knowledge of ISO 9001

· Knowledge of Outlook

· Knowledge of CMM’s

· Knowledge of Keyence machines

· Nice to have: knowledge of ISO 13485 and AS9100

· Nice to have: knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
