We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Sales Manager to help drive sales in a team atmosphere with a solid support structure. If you are driven and self-motivated with a friendly attitude, our team is waiting for you!
Please note: this position is based in our Northern Delaware market. The successful candidate may be required to work in any of our Northern locations depending on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Prepare and post sales performance reports daily, weekly and monthly
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues
- Collaborate with vendors on training implementation
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field preferred
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
Medium Exerting 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently and or greater than negligible up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
