MeatEater, Inc. is seeking a highly-motivated and creative person to join MeatEater’s production team as a Photography Intern for the Spring semester. As a Photography Intern you will be responsible for much of the organizational process, supporting MeatEater’s Photographer with sorting, filing, and editing photography content. The Photography Intern will also assist the Photographer, Brand Producer and team in content efforts across a variety of projects. There may also be opportunities to attend shoots and work as a photo assistant and support other needs as they arise. You must have some experience in film or production, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to jump in and get your hands dirty! In particular, we are seeking current college students that are actively enrolled in school and seeking an internship that is college credit eligible.

• Support the photography team in uploading, tagging, and managing  photo database system (Brand folder)
• Edit photos from incoming MeatEater shoots (10-15 catalogs) from January to May
• Assist Senior Photographer with (up to 5) product studio shoots at Bozeman office
• Support Brand Production team in (3) field photo shoots located in Gallatin County
• Assist MeatEater staff with one-off photo needs (culinary, portraits, product, etc.)

Internship Details

• The position will report to the company's Brand Producer
• The Internship will allow for the ability work from home or at MeatEater office in Bozeman, MT.
• Bi-monthly in person meetings will be conducted with our Brand Producer and Senior Photographer
• Monthly training workshops will be offered to develop photography skills (lighting, working with talent, permitting, photo editing, marketing)
• Th role will be on a part time/flexible schedule, 10-20 hours/week 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years working with DSLR or mirrorless cameras
• 2+ years experience with Adobe Lightroom
• MUST be currently enrolled in college/university, preferably Photography school or similar study
• Proven ability to drive progress in a start-up environment 
• Strong interest in film/photography 
• Interest in hunting, fishing, cooking and conservation
