As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a focus on scaling operations, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and efficiency of our organization globally. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and delivering a world class infrastructure prepared for expansion and growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company. What will you do?

  • Build, develop and lead a high-performing team managing core operational functions including: Finance (Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Financial Reporting), Enterprise Infrastructure (IT, Business Intelligence, Quality, Security), Sales Operations (Forecasting & Pipeline, Incentive Compensation Administration), Field & Supply Chain Operations (Fulfillment & Inventory Management, Field Operations, Facilities Mgmt), and Commercial Operations (Contracts & Risk Management, Procurement & Vendor Management); 
  • Lead LineVision’s executive team in the annual budgeting and planning process and setting of key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and tracking of KPIs, working across the Leadership Team to ensure achievement of the annual business objectives; and 
  • Develop a multi-year operational plan to strengthen LineVision’s position as the global industry leader realizing a sustainable business model that maximizes value for all stakeholders. 

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Proven global leadership experience in a high growth environment, preferably with domain expertise in sensing hardware manufacturing and software development; 
  • Successful record scaling a technology infrastructure resulting in organizational efficiency and a variety of tools and solutions that drive the business forward; 
  • Track record of developing and managing multi-year financial plans effectively, with ability to deliver relevant KPIs and productivity metrics to mark progress;
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams; 
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. 

Within 3 Months

  • Assume responsibility for LineVision’s budgeting and planning activities, leading the 2024 budgeting and planning process
  • Gain knowledge and apply insights into LineVision’s field services, supply chain, Security, IT and Financial Operations
  • In partnership with the Leadership Team, lead LineVision’s annual planning and budgeting process, setting financial targets, key performance indicators and the Operations Team Hiring Plan & goals. 

Within 6 Months

  • Solidify financial planning and tracking processes, leverage data and tools to accurately forecast results, and deliver on expectations with stakeholders.

Within 1 Year

  • Scale operational capacity 5x over 2023 volumes while increasing operating income.
