1099 Auto Claims Office Manager

The 1099 Auto Claims Office Manager assists in the day-to-day operations of an office and confirms that it runs efficiently. This could include working with contracted and staff auto appraisers and/or management while fulfilling Alacrity’s policies and procedures and coordinating with other departments within the Operation. The Office Manager serves as a point of contact between the office and external clients while ensuring client Service Level Agreements are adhered to.
Contract Requirements Include:
- 1+ years of general business office/customer service experience in an auto related industry.
- Problem-solving and decision-making: The ability to identify and solve problems, make informed decisions quickly and under pressure, and to think creatively to find solutions to complex challenges.
- Deliver a positive customer service experience through all forms of contact.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage a large volume email account.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate in order to meet client expectations.
- Ability to manage multiple files from beginning to end ensuring cycle time and completion of assignments is met.
- Efficient utilization of internal tools provided. This includes but is not limited to: Optimizer, WEBFMS, Capacity Planner, etc.
- Provide assistance and direction to field auto appraisers throughout the life cycle of an assignment, while keeping the client updated appropriately.
- Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
In addition to these requirements, the Office Manager assumes a critical role in overseeing the quality of appraisals, reports, and file documentation prepared by the appraisers. This entails monitoring and maintaining the standards set by Alacrity in compliance with client service level agreements and with a keen eye on accuracy and precision.

Education/Experience
- 1+ years’ experience in auto material damage (insurance company, body shop) management preferred.
- High school diploma and/or equivalent training and experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred.
- Basic understanding of appraisal process and prior insurance office experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
