YOUR ROLE
As an HR Generalist at Allovue you’ll report to the VP of People and often collaborate with VP of Finance and/or the Senior Executive Manager to fully execute Allovue’s key HR initiatives, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, professional development, company culture, and general HR policies, processes, and compliance.
You’ll contribute to the Allovue mission by:
- Staying up-to-date on cultural and legislative shifts that could impact HR
- Fostering a healthy and responsive work environment that moves urgently and purposefully, but always with compassion
- Ensuring compliance, while maintaining our values of equity and inclusion
- Believing in the Allovue vision and working to attract and retain key talent to fulfill our mission

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the recruitment process for open positions including scheduling interviews and reviewing applicants, working alongside the VP of People and individual hiring manager(s)
- Manage the “Pitch Your Own Position” job listing, responding to applicants regularly
- Support the VP of People in managing employee performance review process
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with the VP of People and leadership on researching and implementing initiatives that can further streamline fully remote work
- Work with the VP of People and VP of Finance to administer employee benefits and work with benefits providers
- Research/audit technology partners that specialize in employee benefits management, cultural impact, and more
- Conduct/support investigations into employee complaints and concerns and recommend appropriate actions
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years of experience in human resources, business administration, or related field
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience with remote work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and project management skills
