Myers Park Country Club is looking for a confident and friendly Host/Hostess that can provide a high standard of appearance, hospitality, and service to our members. The ideal Host/Hostess is welcoming, attentive and assures that member satisfaction standards are consistently attained. If you would like to come and join the fun, apply now!

Requirements
  • Welcoming members and guests by name, while maintaining a confident and approachable appearance to create rapport with those dining.
  • Booking reservations for all a la carte outlets and responding to all inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Suggests and describes available appetizers, entrees, desserts, alcoholic beverages, and wines to members and guests.
  • Assures that all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed.
  • Inspects dining room to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Assures that pre-opening and closing cleaning tasks are completed as required.
  • Assists with table clearing and re-setting as needed.
  • Enforces established rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Suggestively sells daily specials to all members and guests.
  • Assures that local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication, hospitable, and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, punctual, and dependable.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 25lbs; occasionally lift and carry up to 35lbs.
  • Remain on feet, standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
  • One year of prior customer service and/or hospitality experience, country club setting preferred.
