Marketing Event Coordinator
Description

The Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level position in a dynamic, fast-paced sales and marketing environment. The Marketing Coordinator collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, human resources, and the customer experience departments, to ensure the successful execution of marketing strategies. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Chief Revenue Officer in all aspects of event promotions, including assisting with targeted marketing programs designed to maximize sales. In coordination with the CRO, the Marketing Coordinator develops value propositions and messaging to differentiate each sales and marketing event. The Marketing Coordinator helps the CRO manage marketing agencies and vendors and helps coordinate the creative process. The Marketing Coordinator is an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines with fanatic attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Plan meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating distribution lists

· Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and lead the creation of new materials when necessary

· Assist in all aspects of Emerge event marketing campaign development, including customer relationships, promotional activities, 3rd party vendor relationships, and collateral development

· Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation

· Create and maintain marketing plans and calendars for Emerge events and ensure activities are executed in a brand-aligned and timely manner

· Assist with all promotional and event awareness initiatives

· Continually seek new sources of prospective customer data and provide recommendations to leadership

· Compile market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends

· Support creating and distributing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, and digital content (e.g., social media posts, blog articles).

· Collaborate with the executive team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials

· Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates, and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts

· Manage and update the company's website content, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines


Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications

· Proven ability to work independently and employ effective time management skills to organize and handle multiple highly visible priorities, projects, and products simultaneously

· General marketing experience, including successful event promotions or experience with an event marketing, advertising, or promotions agency

· Working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

· Experience using data analytics software for research

· Experience with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools

· Strong passion for marketing and eagerness to learn and grow in the field

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail

· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva)

· Understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, such as social media platforms, email marketing software, and web analytics


Work Conditions: 

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

· Up to 20% travel may be required
