GoldenWolf is seeking an Application Developer to join our team. The person to fulfill this employment opportunity will be responsible for the development support for enterprise application(s), analytical and business process analysis, analytical tool development, process improvement support, and system sustainment for the developed enterprise system application. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the client, analytics support team, and the FMIS civilian application developers.
- Assist with the design, build, test, and deployment web application(s) that meet(s) project requirements as directed by the Government.
- Partner close with all project personnel.
- Initially learn to understand and later recognize the use of design patterns at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Participate in various design projects from concept to completion.
- Provide responsive design solutions to help build optimal user experience.
- Continually improve, update, and maintain existing web pages.
- Understand the project requirements and concepts.
- Pitch and defend creative ideas and web solutions.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure the implementation of their ideas.
- Implement feedback from other designers and team members to improve design.
- Communicate continually with the Senior team to understand requirements of a project and to make sure that the work done meets such requirements.
- Craft and fine tune the UI of websites that you develop; make decisions on the fly to make the UI better.
- Check your work and make it work across platforms and devices using cross compatibility tools.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
- 5-8 + years’ experience with Web and mobile applications development using C# and .NET Core 3+.
- Advanced experience with Linq, C#, ASP.net, CSS3, CanvasJS, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, Angular, Node, AJAX, HTML5, Bootstrap 3/4, Razor, MVC5, VueJS, and Web APIs and responsive web design.
- Knowledge and experience of relational database schemas including XML and SQL, including writing and maintaining SQL stored procedures and SSIS packages.
- Must have experience with Electronic Health Records/Electronic Medical Records (EHR/EMR)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and test-driven development
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 and Git
- Must be familiar with DISA Application STIG’s and secure coding principles with regards to application development within the DoD environment.
- Knowledge of Shell scripting, any scripting language (Python, Ruby, PHP or other)
- Security +
- Participate in various design projects from concept to completion.
- Understanding of UI design and a user-oriented focus
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Analytical thinking/critical thinking skills are imperative.
