The Role

We are looking for a project manager to be responsible for handling our company's ongoing projects. You will be working closely with your team members and clients to ensure that all project requirements, budgets, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans all the while keeping the project on budget with regards to promises to the customers and the profit margins we want to hit.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a huge advantage.

Responsibilities 

• Consults with clients and reviews project proposals to determine goals, timeframes, budget, staffing requirements and project constraints
• Champion strong project governance and execution assurance processes
• Drives the adoption and implementation of Agile project and program management methodologies
• Administers project tracking systems, software, templates, and tools
• Improves the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of the project delivery artifacts
• Creates concise, informative, and meaningful management reports to highlight project issues and progress
• Responsible for interfacing with sales and the customer and other key stakeholders to clearly define project scope, requirements and deliverables.
• Responsible for project team coordination and communication to ensure on-time, under-budget successful completion of projects from initiation to completion.

Skills We Need From You

• Ensure continuous consistency with project strategy and Systems Development Lifecycles (SDLC)
• Serve as neutral facilitator, communicate openly and timely, horizontally, and vertically in order to achieve transparency of project progress and lead to resolve conflicts in good faith
• Serve as a primary project contact with the client to schedule and facilitate meetings, understand needs and requirements, identify gaps, document appropriately, demo solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Build work breakdown structures and timelines to align internal resources to meet deadlines.
• Apply knowledge of the industry and the competitive environment
• Regularly update internal portfolio systems
• Excellent process management and problem-solving skills
• Prior consulting experience and extensive experience of process analysis and design
• Thorough knowledge of Agile methodology preferred
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Technologies
• Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work efficiently to produce the highest value for our clients
• Strong communication (oral and written) and consultative skills
• Strong knowledge of software development technologies and process
• Independently evaluates business systems needs and requirements and recommends and implements solutions
• Works on high priority projects where business problems are complex or unique
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Exercises judgment requiring more in-depth knowledge using generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Ability to identify gaps, challenges, and risks and drive towards mitigation
• Strong documentation skills and ability to present information in a consumable format.
• Lean/six sigma certification or PMP certification is preferred but not required
• Technical knowledge of major business system platforms (ERP, CRM, BI, HRIS, etc.)
