Reporting Manager: Sr. Director, Security Consulting

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Tysons, VA

Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience   

General Description:

The Enterprise Safety and Security (ESS) Physical Security Specialist serves as a critical point of contact between our client’s Corporate Security Team and their lines of businesses (LOBs), providing advice and solutions that mitigate operational, strategic and tactical risks for the Tysons Region. The person in this position will also serve as a point of contact for regional guard services, life safety services, and physical security equipment maintenance.

Requirements

  

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, organizing, and executing assurance reviews of existing and emerging security programs with minimal assistance.
  • Perform security assessments that ensure client LOBs are compliant with corporate standards, banking industry requirements and government regulation pertaining to security.
  • Provide oversight of inspection results for regional facilities and ensure remediation of security issues.
  • Investigate security incidents and/or minor criminal activity to identify both root cause and those responsible.
  • Prepare and implement plans for internal security strategic project work. Provide direct support to external clients as needed.
  • Execute moderately complex projects based on security expertise and direction from managers. Participate in design and execution of more complex security projects.
  • Manage security support needed for scheduled and unscheduled corporate events.
  • Collect data and prepare performance metrics at appropriate intervals to assess security program effectiveness.
  • Perform other related work as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
  • At least 3-years of experience in security related field and/or managing highly complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-years of experience in Physical Security, Threat Management, Auditing or Security Consulting experience with a commercial or government organization.
  • ASIS Certified Associate Protection Professional (APP), Physical Security Professional (PSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
