Recruiter - Part Time
Description
  • Assists the Faison Center with the implementation of a centralized recruitment process by developing, facilitating and implementing all phases of the recruitment process
  • Pro-actively find, recruit, and carefully match candidates to the right position
  • Facilitate the hiring process, which includes interviewing and screening qualified candidates, securing proper documentation, negotiating pay packages, interviewing, and on-boarding new candidates
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration
  • Send and reply to emails in a timely manner
  • Pursues and utilizes creative recruiting tactics to ensure adequate applicant pools. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. reviews applications and submits to the hiring manager those applicants that meet the qualifications, schedules interviews
  • Develops appropriate interview questions and conducts interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry-level, professional and technical job openings
  • Coordinates and monitors the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all candidates who are going through the onboarding process
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Experience in metrics-driven environment
  • Strong PC-based computer skills, and ability to learn new computer programs quickly
  • 3-5 years previous experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
  • Proven ability to proactively source, pre-qualify, and interview candidates using a variety of leading recruitment resources
  • Expertise in quickly building and leveraging strong business relationships with internal and external clients
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality where required and discretion when involved in sensitive conversations 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong decision-making skills
