ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The RPIE Tagger is a self-motivated, resourceful facilities inventory technician. Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Identify Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) assets for inventory purposes.• Identify data to include with RPIE inventory.
• Review data collected to ensure quality control.
• Communication across multiple platforms to ensure successful inventory capture in a team environment.
• Coordination with military and civilian personnel to achieve RPIE inventory objectives.
• Up to 60% travel including some overseas 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience working in facilities maintenance. 
• Experience using technology to support a facility a plus.
• Construction experience, good technical and organizational skills needed.
• Experience using technology to support a facility a plus.
• Real Property Inventoried Equipment (RPIE) experience and DMLSS or similar CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) background will be given special consideration.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
• Must have manual dexterity in order to perform a variety of tasks with a variety of tools including but not limited to, hand and power tools. 
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to climb and crawl as required to access equipment. 
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Strong attention to detail with expertise in Controls for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and/or Fire Protection systems. 
• Good technical and organizational skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
• Must be highly self- motivated and solutions oriented; able to work independently, in a fast-paced environment.
