Job Description:
Lift mechanic responsible from maintaining the safe operation of an Arial tramway and several ground service lifts. Working in a strong team environment where safety and customer service at top priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working in the outdoors of Northern Idaho 8-10 hours daily
- Climbing and rigging while on 100 ft high lift towers
- Able to conduct pre operation inspections and safety checks on lifts and generation plants
- Perform miscellaneous job related duties and special assignments as need by manager
- Work unsupervised and be self motivated to complete tasks on time
- Ski or snowboard in order to complete daily tasks
Marginal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support all areas of the resort as needed
- Record keeping and documentation
Requirements
Pre-Employment Requirements: Pre-employment drug test, criminal background check
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma
- Excellent people skills
- Strong teamwork background and able to work within a buddy system environment
- Commitment to a high level of customer service
- Ski area work experience helpful
Technical Skills: (not required but will help application)
- 2 yrs mechanical experience, Understanding of low voltage controls, NDT certified, climbing ability, rigging ability, basic computer skills.
Performance Skills:
- Works well under pressure maintaining a positive attitude
- Physically fit

- NDT
- Drivers license
