What We Need:
MikeWorldWide (MWW) is looking for an Account Executive to join our global Digital practice and execute social media marketing programs with a dual focus on Corporate/B2B clients as well as our Consumer brands. This role will be critical in day-to-day account activities and ensures that our digital programs are integrated with all teams and executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate is proactive, incredibly organized, has strong writing skills, and can manage multiple client accounts. Please note: This is a hybrid position and requires 2 days (in-person) in our New York office.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Work alongside leaders of the Social Practice and Corporate Team to help enhance social offerings for our B2B/Corporate and Consumer clients to ensure the agency is evolving and staying ahead of the curve
· Execute multiple facets of client programs including social strategy development, content development, executive visibility content strategy, campaign execution, community management, analytics, and reporting
· Write short-form and long-form content on behalf of our clients including corporate leaders/executives
· Deliver client-ready materials, including plans, memos, proposal decks, and timelines
· Manage day-to-day organic social presence, community management, UGC monitoring, and content distribution/curation with a specific focus on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram (as applicable)
· Identify, research, and establish relationships with various influencers in various niches
· Stay up to date on social media trends and platform capabilities as it relates to social clients
· Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed to maximize traffic, engagement, and growth potential across all platforms
· Research relevant industry experts, competitors, target audiences and users
· Work with social monitoring and reporting tools to pull performance and insights for activity and status reports
Requirements/Qualifications + Success Factors:
· 2-3 years of experience that includes social media marketing, content strategy and development, and social media management
- Prior experience with social media listening, publishing, and measurement platforms is a must; this includes tools similar to Netbase, Shareablee, Sprinklr, and others.
- Knowledge of social media advertising options and management on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
· Experience executing paid social advertising is a plus
· Proficient reporting skills and turning data into insights & recommendations
· Maintain a professional, client-ready demeanor and presence; keep a high standard of etiquette in all communications and interactions
- Shines in a fast-paced environment, managing frequent tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Ability to “get smart quickly”- understand and learn different business sectors swiftly
· Superior oral and written communication skills; proofreading and editing ability
- Ability to think strategically, creatively and proactively; exhibit a facility for problem-solving and close attention to detail
