Description

  

The Sr Parts & Inventory Control Specialist will manage the parts inventory for our fleet of aircrafts. The candidate will process parts requests, maintain separate storage locations in our base locations and be responsible for the complete life cycle of inventory which includes procuring, receiving, storing, stock chasing, disbursing, transferring, exchanging, shipping, and delivering items. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance. 


Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage a quality Inventory Control System that is cost-effective, timely and provides adequate supplies to support Craft’s fleet of aircraft.
  • Complete appropriate financial and accounting processes related to the purchasing, selling and inventory of aircraft parts and support equipment.
  • Ensure that all stock items are identified, controlled, segregated, preserved and stored in accordance with accepted aviation standards and Craft policies.
  • Process parts requests which support repair station maintenance work orders.
  • Procure, record, issue and receive parts, assemblies, and aircraft supplies (e.g., food, beverages, bedding, etc.) coming in or going out.
  • Perform physical count of inventory, and update inventory count of parts, materials and supplies in the inventory control system.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and solvents as required.
  • Perform stock transfers of parts and physically move stock from one location to another.
  • Properly receive and issue parts via the Inventory Control System. 
  • Provide discrepancy resolutions and inventory inspections based on Company regulations and safety standards.
  • Take initiative to help document processes, training, procedures, and otherwise help the efficiency of the maintenance department. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. 
Requirements
  •  A minimum of 2+ years of experience in parts warehousing, transportation, or supply chain experience required.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting practices or experience with inventory counts.
  • Knowledge of aviation maintenance operations, particularly FAR Part 145 CRS preferred.
  • Ability to scrutinize inventory levels and recommend adjustments.
  • Ability to work with other supply chain personnel.
  • Willingness to travel to aircraft and core bases of operation.
  • Experience with management of inventory min/max levels.
  • Must be detailed oriented and results driven. 
  • Familiar with supply chain software.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Ability to lift items up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Valid CDL License
  • Able to attain and sustain an Airport ID Badge. Background check requirement
