Full Job Description:
The role of the Technician Assistant is supporting our DVM and in-clinic team while working with families to help their pets. This position is client-facing and requires a motivated, problem-solving, upbeat, "people-person".
This role needs to have the ability to engage clients, animals, staff, and our community in a positive and professional way in order to set an example for the team as we strive to deliver a WOW Client and Animal Experience.
A person in the role works in a close relationship with the DVM and Tech's. They must be willing to work in a team environment and have strong communication skills with clients and fellow team members. This role is also responsible for supporting client communication, scheduling, checking out clients, clinic cleanliness, prepping food for patients, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:
- Communicating with the Veterinarian, and with clients and team members in person
- Assisting the Veterinarian with medical record preparation
- Assisting the Veterinarian with patient appointments, including Fear Free restraint for physical examinations and venipuncture
- Managing, cleaning, and preparing the office for patient care
- Undergo hands-on training with ongoing clinical support
- Handling the check-in and check-out of clients
- Filling medications whether in-house or calling prescriptions into outside pharmacies
- Assisting other team members as needed
- Keeping up to date inventory and accurate inventory files
- Prepping treats and food for patients
