Description

Assist in the organization and management of all camp games and cabin sign-up activities as well as plan and implement activities for High School week. 

  • Plans, sets up/tears down, and facilitates all camp games and sign-up activities.
  • Schedules and runs department sign-up activities such as Dodgeball, Slip N Slide, etc.
  • Plans and facilitates High School Week activities. 
  • Assists in coordinating and supervising staff training and maintenance of activity areas.
  • Coordinates with Village Leaders for the use of areas as needed.
  • Serves as a facilitator for departmental program offerings when needed.
  • Participate in all scheduled training.
  • Help make campers, staff, and guests feel welcomed.
  • Make suggestions as needed to the Recreation Director regarding the operation of activity areas.
  • Attend all meetings, both departmental and camp-wide.
  • Be involved in other camp activities as planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, as the schedule allows, mainly after dinner hours.
  • Assist in various responsibilities in order to facilitate Sunday camper drop- off and Saturday camper pick-up. 
  • Fulfill temporary assignments to other duties, including Cabin Leader, as needed.

  • Demonstrates excellent work ethic; excels at providing quality guest experiences.

Positional

  • Has excellent communication skills and the ability to teach and lead others

  • Is able to responsibly operate a golf cart
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
