We seek a highly motivated Health Informatics Analyst to optimize and enhance our electronic medical record (EMR) system functionality. You will serve as an internal subject matter expert on our EMR platform and work cross-functionally to understand end-user needs. This role will configure system settings, build custom forms, train end-users, develop reports, and implement workflows to improve clinical operations and data analysis. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone passionate about improving healthcare delivery through technology. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving EMR functionality.
  • Configure EMR system modules and templates to meet clinical and operational requirements.
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and department heads to evaluate EMR functionality gaps and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Serve as the internal expert on EMR systems, staying current with industry best practices and trends.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with healthcare providers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflow needs, and configure the EMR system to meet those needs effectively.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of EMR features, including customization, templates, and reporting, to maximize the system's utility.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can navigate the EMR system efficiently and maximize its capabilities.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and take the initiative to drive change.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where adaptability, flexibility, and creative problem-solving are essential.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare informatics or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, with experience configuring and customizing EMR functionality.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and drive results.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to drive initiatives and manage competing priorities.

Base Salary/ Wage Range $125,000 to $135,000 plus annual bonus. Compensation for the role is commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
