Responsible for production of mammography and ultrasound test and quality control devices.
The ability to use Microscope and other viewing devices/tools for accurate placement of very small artifacts. Capable of reading and understanding complex work instructions and performing related assembly processes. Must be able to measure and weigh with very high accuracy. High degree of eye-hand coordination required. Work may involve occasional assignments of a non-routine nature, which will require new approaches or independent judgment. Requires general working knowledge of Gammex Inc, products and manufacturing processes. Ability to operate a variety of basic lab equipment and tools – training provided. Accuracy is critical in this position.

Most of the workday is spent sitting and bending. Occasionally crouching, and pushing/pulling or lifting/lowering weights of up to 5 to 50 pounds. Some use of the computer. Repetitive motions with hands, wrists and arms. Risk form these motions are minimized by varying hand, arm and wrist movements as much as possible. Moderate exposure to electrical equipment and sharp tools/instruments. Minimal exposure to lung irritants, cold, heights, skin irritants and loud noises. Risk from these exposures can be minimized by following company and OSHA safety standards, policies, procedures, and practices.
