About the Candidate / Role
Tradewind Aviation is looking for a Scheduler. The Scheduler’s primary responsibility is to maximize the efficient utilization of Tradewind Aviation’s entire fleet of aircraft. The Scheduler supports the Sales team by checking availability of crew and aircraft to meet demand. Once trips are booked, the Scheduler is responsible for continuously ensuring the most efficient use of resources to deliver top-level service to Tradewind Aviation’s customers in a rapidly changing environment. Must be flexible with work schedule and able to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide trip availability to Charter Sales
- Maximize the efficiency of crew and aircraft schedules
- Ensure compliance with FARs and company policies
- Coordinate trip changes with Sales team
- Determine crew relocations to meet future demand
- Arrange schedule to fulfill maintenance needs
- Assist Dispatch during schedule interruptions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 6 months aviation experience
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at times
