Description

Title: Maintenance Technician Date: 4/2024 Reports To: Maintenance Manager Supervisory Responsibilities: None FLSA: Exempt ( ) Non-Exempt ( X ) Working Environment: Working Ranch & Guest Hospitality Hours: Five rotating Days a week, including weekends and holidays. 

OBJECTIVE: The maintenance technician is Responsible for maintaining the guest cabins, staff units, and common areas of the ranch. This position will occasionally assist other areas of the operation as needed. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOPNSIBILITIES: 

• Ensure presentation of all guest cabins and common areas meet 5-star standards. 

• Complete all work orders assigned to the guest cabins, staff units, and common areas of the ranch. E.g. analyzing and repairing plumbing, electrical, heating and simple carpentry repairs. Many of these work orders will come in the day by radio calls as housekeeping is cleaning guest units. 

• Repair or maintain in operating condition all common areas – patio house, lodge, store, exercise room, business center, spa, and shop. 

• Conducting ongoing room and building preventative maintenance programs. Maintain accurate logs of these programs. 

• Provide quality and professional service when responding to guest concerns and maintain good working relationships with other departments and their team members. 

• Assist in maintaining the building exteriors, sidewalks, lawn, and general lighting. 

• Supports other departments with labor contribution as needed. 


NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 

Performs all related duties as assigned. 


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. 

• Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools. 

• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships. 

• Work harmoniously with all other engineering personnel as well as other ranch personnel. 

• Valid driver’s license • Sincere desire to exceed guest expectations. 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 lbs and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. 

• Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time, squatting, kneeling, bending, carrying, climbing ladders, and working overhead.
