Jenkins Electric, a Charlotte-based electro-mechanical repair company, is looking for an experienced AC/DC Electric Motor Mechanic to join our fast-growing team.

Requirements
- Inspect various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions
- Measure for ad note need for replacement parts.
- Correctly requisition needed items from storekeepers, as approved by the supervisor
- Illustrate and/or document all relevant data specific to the unit’s electro-magnetic characteristics, operating condition existing damage, or intended serviceability.
- Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable electro-mechanical
- Observe proper insulating techniques and/or requirements during rewinding.
- Test rewound electro-mechanical equipment according to Longo standards and document test results
- Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for hidden structural damage or unusual conditions.

- Willing to perform other tasks (not listed above) as assigned by the Foremen. An attitude of that's not my job conflicts with our goal of serving our customers in a timely manner, and will not be tolerated.
- Share knowledge with co-workers that will help them complete their projects efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with co-workers.
- Maintain a record of consistent attendance, stay on task during work hours, and be willing to work overtime when asked by the department foreman. (Attendance Expectation: M-F 7am 3:30pm)
- Provide feedback to company management on areas where improvements can be made.
- Represent the company favorably in interactions with customers and vendors.
- Perform all activities using proper safety equipment and procedures.
- Provide feedback to company management regarding unsafe equipment and procedures as appropriate.
