Position: Lead Driver / Supervisor

Compensation: $18.00/HR


Shift: 

AM SHIFT-4am-12pm

PM 6pm- Last Flight of the night


 We operate 24/7/365, with weekends and holidays making up part of the adventure.

Note: Depending on the location's size, you may find yourself immersed in the field 50-75% of your scheduled time.

Requirements

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct the dynamic work activities of a group of drivers, maximizing profitability and enhancing the customer experience through optimal cost strategies.
  • Be the beacon of leadership, guiding and inspiring drivers in areas such as process improvement, team-building, coaching, and feedback.
  • Assist in minimizing overtime, reserving it for emergencies only.
  • Dive into the recruitment process, from interviews to training, ensuring drivers are motivated, coached, and mentored to excellence.
  • Take charge of the daily maintenance review of fleet vehicles, overseeing inspections, scheduling maintenance, and promptly communicating concerns to the Fleet Manager.
  • Champion safety by conducting audits, leading regular safety meetings, and engaging with individual staff members.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Master the management of local permits and vehicle registrations, ensuring timely communication with finance for renewals.
  • Cultivate positive professional relationships with airport ground transportation, attending meetings as required.
  • Uphold the utmost professionalism by completing required paperwork promptly, adhering to company policies, and following all protocols.
  • Maintain insurability by company motor vehicle insurance standards.
