Description

Seatrax, Inc.'s Equipment Services division handles maintenance and repairs of offshore drilling equipment. With outstanding customer service, top-notch products and industry experts, our expanding division hopes to have an impact on the oil and gas sector.


We are seeking Experienced Mechanics to join our team. 


Job Summary:

Mechanics at Seatrax are responsible for cleaning up, loading, and unloading, and transporting equipment/items with a forklift and crane. Participate in the maintenance and repair of large drilling equipment.


Main Responsibilities:

· Assists in a variety of functions, such as repair and manual labor jobs as needed.

· Perform troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs equipment per Work Instructions.

· Work under the supervision of the Lead Technician and the Shop Foreman.

· Relies on pre-established SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and Work Instructions to complete repairs and tasks.

· Maintain and keep a clean working space and clear of clutter. 

· Ensure all tools are picked up and stored properly at the end of shift. 


Additional Duties:

· Complete any additional tasks, including documentation and photographs, as directed.

· Communicate with management about all information pertaining to your job. 

· Attend all meetings and training required for Seatrax, Inc, specific job(s) and professional development.

· Adhere to all Seatrax, Inc. and HSE policies and procedures.

· Comply with QMS processes and policies.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Possess basic mechanical understanding.

· Possess a working knowledge of the principles of hydraulics. (preferred)

· To read schematics and drawings (preferred)

· To read and comprehend technical work instructions.

· Possess basic math skills.

· To endure prolonged periods spent on your feet a

· To work in inclement weather conditions.


Preferred Experience but not required:

· Advance mechanical expertise. 

· Experience in offshore drilling equipment maintenance and repairs. 

Requirements

· High School diploma or equivalent/ combination of education and experience

· Communication skills, both written and oral

· Must be able to take instruction and direction from management.

· Must be a team-player. 

· Able to work independently and safely.

· Job Type: Full-time

· Pay: DOE, Competitive Pay with possibilities of overtime

Schedule:

M-F: 6am-4pm, Weekends and Overtime may be required depending on job(s)
