Description
We are seeking an individual with the following:
- Natural Approach to Obstetrics: Embrace and promote natural approaches to obstetrics whenever possible, ensuring the well-being of both the mother and the baby.
- Advanced Obstetric Skills: Manage cases involving External Cephalic Version (ECV), breech deliveries, and forceps-assisted deliveries with confidence and expertise.
- High-Risk Obstetric Care: Demonstrate advanced skills in managing high-risk obstetric cases, providing comprehensive care and support to patients with complex medical conditions.
- Gynecological Expertise: Perform a wide range of gynecological procedures including LEEP, hysteroscopy, HSG, ablations, hysterectomy, and D&C, utilizing advanced techniques and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Infertility Treatments: Provide proficient infertility treatments, offering guidance and support to patients experiencing fertility challenges.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate effectively with midwives, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, embracing the midwifery model of care and its principles.
- Patient Education: Be enthusiastic about patient education, taking the time to explain procedures, treatments, and options thoroughly. Foster an environment of informed decision-making.
- On-Call Availability: Be willing to be on-call, including for cesarean deliveries, ensuring that patients receive timely and expert care during labor and delivery.
- Flexibility and Sense of Humor: Display flexibility and a good sense of humor in a clinical setting, contributing to a positive work environment and excellent patient experiences.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- State of Wisconsin medical license and DEA registration.
- Completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a wide range of obstetric and gynecological cases, including high-risk pregnancies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care.
