RESPONSIBILITIES


30% - Product Development Leadership

Lead engineering design efforts required to support product development (Product is defined as the ONE Build solution inclusive of the standard, modular components, sub-assemblies and assemblies – “the catalog”); ideate, analyze, test, evaluate, plan, configure, optimize, and refine solutions to advance the product; and implement their integration into the configurator of ONE Plan. 


20% - Scrum Collaboration

Collaborate within the lean framework “scrum,” as a SME to ideate, analyze, test, evaluate, plan, configure, optimize, and refine “feature” solutions necessary to advance the product. Features are material and/or system improvements; add value operational / functional enhancements, performance, reliability, and/or durability; improved environmental impact (reduce carbon, energy, waste, etc.); de-risking means and method improvements (including safety). 


20% - Process Optimization

Co-create necessary processes and workflows supportive of the entire Agorus value chain -> design, make, ship, and install; necessary to ideate, analyze, test, evaluate, plan, configure, optimize, and refine solutions to improve performance, reduce cost, and increase construction speed and safety.


15% - Research & Compliance

Undertake necessary research to evaluate materials, components and systems; establish performance, code compliance, and technical feasibility.


15% - Mentor & Guide

Recruit, instruct, mentor, and lead a diverse group of staff necessary to execute the Agorus vision and specifically to create the digital design capabilities necessary to support and enable product development. Create necessary education / training programs necessary to effectively disseminate the prerequisite knowledge and make pervasive across the organization. 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or MS in Engineering
  • CA PE or CA SE
  • Minimum 10 years experience

  • Meet and get to know the team. Understand roles and responsibilities.
  • Find your footings – understanding Agorus’ current processes. 
  • Introduce yourself – establish working rapport with the team. 
  • Review and become familiar with the company and department strategy.

  • Align your role with the work of others. Establish a working fit. 
  • Develop a working understanding of the processes, tools, and technical language underpinning the department.
  • Develop a working understanding of your role within the company and department strategy.

First 90 Days

  • Own your role and responsibilities; be able to clearly articulate the role and responsibilities. 
  • Establish fit and synergy with the team; become an integral member of the team. 
  • Be able to clearly articulate your role and responsibility to the company and department strategy.
