Summary
The Reproductive Endocrinologist provides exceptional patient care in all aspects of reproductive medicine and surgery. They utilize evidence-based medicine and best practices to provide a high level of care that is compassionate and responsive to patient needs and expectations.
· Assesses and documents patient status through chart review, interview, and physical examination.
· Maintain confidentiality and document clinical information accurately, completely, and timely.
· Maintains a moderate level of productivity and bills for work performed in a timely manner.
· Receives, organizes, prioritizes, stores, and maintains transmittable information utilizing electronic technology.
· Analyzes records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical conditions.
· Prescribes or administers therapies, medications, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. Monitors patients' conditions and progress and reevaluates treatments as necessary.
· Responsible for protecting Personal Health Information (PHI) and maintaining compliance with Women's Care's Privacy Policy. Uses the minimum PHI necessary when completing assignments.
· Work collaboratively with clinical team.
· Recognizes and responds to emergencies, obtaining assistance from and/or referring to physicians when appropriate.
· Promotes, establishes, and maintains open and effective communications with all members of The Fertility Center of Oregon at Women's Care. Serves as communication liaison between the physician and the patient. Educates the patient as directed by physician in health maintenance, disease prevention, and compliance with treatment plans.
· Provides medical care, consultation, and collaboration, coordination, and referral services.
· Refers patients to medical specialist or another practitioner when necessary.
Education and Experience
Must be MD or DO board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, board eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology, and licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Oregon. Current Basic Life Support or Advanced Life Support certification and current DEA certificate.
