Working Environment: Member Private Homes, Guest Ranch Areas, Ranch Property
OBJECTIVE: The Member Services Property Assistant (MSPA) will be the go- to person for any Member needs regarding their property, home, personal equipment and/or vehicles. This position will work with the Member Services Property Manager to conduct and schedule routine maintenance on the member homes and vehicles, mail, trash, and recycle services, member home checks, snow removal, emergency alarm response, landscaping services, shuttles for member families and active participation in member private events and ranch sponsored events. Not only should this person assume all current member services needs but they should also be innovative and creative in finding other valuable services the department can provide. When time allows outside of the immediate member needs, this person may be asked to assist in the ranch maintenance department, housekeeping department, and ranch hand department. A successful MSPA will be flexible and diverse in nature, working with initiative, common sense, and momentum. Individuals are expected to be orderly in conduct and courteous to Members and their guests, Vendors, Contractors, and Team Members.
C Lazy U Ranch is a luxury, family-oriented vacation destination, and the Member Services Property Assistant will understand the key drivers of success for Member Services, including the importance of ensuring that Member families and children have an unforgettable experience while home maintenance and care is provided at the highest level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Competent in troubleshooting and performing minor repairs in homes. May include electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazier, mechanical and painting tasks. Repairing and treating structures such as showers, floors, sinks, walls, carpets, and roofs. Exercising discretion to identify projects that need higher skilled professionals/ independent contractors.
• Routine home checks as needed by the homeowners.
• Oversees landscaping and snow removal services.
• General labor duties include but not limited to: sweeping, raking, fire building, splitting and delivering wood, unloading trucks, moving furniture, staining wood, and cleaning vehicles or equipment.
• Shuttling member families to DIA, JSX, ski resorts, etc.
• Communicates and works closely with Member Services Property Manager, the ranch maintenance and ranch hand departments to ensure member home maintenance needs are met.
• Responds to all maintenance requests by Member Services Property Manager, and Member Services Executive Housekeeper.
• Coordinate and meet different contractors and vendors at member homes.
• Tracks all hours related to member services and communicates them with the Member Services Property Manager in a timely fashion for accurate billing.
• Activating and deactivating building alarms and responding to alarm calls during and after work hours when on-call.
• Responsible for emergency member cell phone when Member Services Property Manager is off to cover any member needs – responds to all calls and/or text messages in a professional and timely manner.
• Is educated and well versed on all member services, ranch offerings, hours or outlets and demonstrates a sincere desire to satisfy all member requests with a positive and upbeat attitude.
• Always thinking of new ways to increase the value of our member service program by new offerings and services.
• Assists in member events – helps with planning, set-up, and tear down of these events.
• Works to build strong and trusting relationships with the member families.
• Checks email regularly and responds to members and fellow co-workers in a timely and professional manner.
ANCILLARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Protecting the workplace environment by requiring appropriate equipment and facilities maintenance.
• Attending all Ranch required meetings and training.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing a uniform shirt and cowboy hat.
• Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
• Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
• All other Member Related Services as Necessary.
• Assist Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Ranch Hand Departments as necessary and when time allows to ensure a positive and cohesive working relationship between these two departments.
• Works on special projects as given by Member Services Property Manager.
• Assists member services housekeeping departments when time allows.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Preferred experience: Professional Certification, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or a minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently with remote supervision.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, guests, Members, and the public.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft365 Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel. SharePoint, Publisher, Oracle OperaCloud, Simphony or other hotel PMS/POS systems experience a plus.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s auto insurance carrier.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Employee is regularly required to talk and listen. Frequently required to sit, stand, use hands, type, and handle, or make use of sense of touch.
• The employee is required to walk on uneven terrain, reach with hands, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
• Ability to use efficiently various power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to drive/operate vehicles/equipment on varying terrain with varying conditions, including snow, mud and ice.
