Description

This residential treatment and recover program for women with substance use disorders offers hope, love, and assistance for women in recovery by removing substance use as a barrier to employment and living in the community. Services support women in achieving abstinence, maintaining recovery, avoiding illegal activity and meeting parenting responsibilities. The program also provides supports to help women obtain employment and transition into safe and stable housing.


The Wellness Coach Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides individual, group therapy specifically tailored to explore areas of whole health and wellness for individuals 
  • Develop  (with individuals) and reviews individualized wellness recovery plans. 
  •  Completes documentation of services provided and response to services in a timely manner. 
  • Attends and participates in case staffing and treatment team meetings 
  • Works with interdisciplinary team in reviewing cases and developing individual service plans that encourage the whole health and wellness component of each individual recovery plan. 

Ascend partners with Highland Rivers Health, Georgia’s largest Community Service Board (CSB). Requirements

     

Bachelor’s Degree in Behavior Healthcare field

Job related license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, MFT, LMSW,   LAPC, MAC, CACII, CADC, CAC)

Minimum (3) year of human services, social work and /or clinical experience   with addictive diseases population.

Must be able to pass intensive criminal background investigation

Pre Hire and Random Drug Screening

Acceptable  Motor Vehicle report


Preferred Master’s Degree in Behavior Health field/ (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, CAC, CACII,   CADC)
