Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, this role is essential in managing scheduling, insurance verification, medical records, fee collections, and various reception duties. Essential Duties
- Manage daily business office operations including scheduling, insurance verification, billing, collections, credentialing, and medical records.
- Supervise non-clinical staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate surgical block schedules and maintain strong communication with physician offices.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Act as point of contact for IT support and maintain HIPAA compliance and data security.
- Support onboarding, training, and personnel file management in partnership with HR
- Ensure regulatory, accreditation, and quality compliance across business operations
- Monitor revenue cycle performance and liaise with third-party billing providers.
- Conduct audits, identify training needs, and implement staff development plans.
- Participate in and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in medical office or surgical facility operations, including staff supervision.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, credentialing, and billing practices in an outpatient or ASC setting.
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures required.
