At ERX We are looking for full-service 1099 Paint/Sheetrock/Drywall Technicians who are equipped to provide restoration services for both residential and commercial properties due to a storm, fire, flood, or mold damage. Our restoration services include construction and repairs for a full rebuild of the affected areas, contents restoration, 24/7 response, and much more.
Emergency Restoration Experts is looking for 1099 Paint/Sheetrock/Drywall Technicians to help with restoration services. Our business is growing fast, and we want to continue to serve our communities and customers with the best of the best to ensure their properties are restored to their former glory.
This is a 1099 Contract role.
1099 Contactor Requirements (Paint/Sheetrock/Drywall)
Sheetrock
- Measuring, cutting and fitting drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
- Positioning and securing drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs
- Cutting and installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Filling joints, holes and cracks with compound using a trowel and broad knife
- Smoothing out excess compound and sanding over dry compound
- Clean up worksite debris
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ensure job processes and procedures are followed
- Must have General Contractor License
Painting
- Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers
- Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites
- Covering exposed objects and surfaces
- Removes old paint coating, if necessary
- Mixes colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency
- Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned
- Cleans up worksite debris
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ensure job processes and procedures are followed
- Must have General Contractor License
