Software Developer (Application Developer) - Santa Fe / WFH Hybrid Eligible
Description

The primary roles of this position creates and enhances business applications to improve inefficiencies and accuracy for the credit union. Provides core application administrative functions and assistance to system users, management and the Information Technology Department.  


The salary range for this position is $74,530.40 - $111,795.60. New hires typically brought into the organization at a rate between the range minimum and the range maximum, depending on the qualifications, internal equity and the budgeted amount for the role.  

  • Works with staff to analyze current work flows and recommends and develops enhancements.
  • Performs various new project application development functions.
  • Develops, modifies, tests and implements applications.
  • Maintains programming library.
  • Develops and maintains application development documentation.
  • Performs liaison duties between software vendors and credit union staff.
  • Coordinates with outside vendors to resolve any problems with software.
  • Develops custom reports and forms utilizing core system and ancillary products.
  • Administrative duties on core system and has deep knowledge of its functions.
  • Analyzes malfunctions/problems with systems, diagnoses and corrects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
Requirements

 Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Five years to eight years of similar or related experience. 
  • Five years experience in an analyst capacity; three years experience in programming. 
  • Proficient programming skills to include: Java, Java Script, SQL, HTML programming and  system analysis, Microsoft Office 

Education: 

  • (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry  as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a  degree).
